Letter to the Editor: F-board website still under construction

To the Editor:
In regards to your article on “Show me the Money” on February 1, 2007, I would like to remind you and readers that all finance-related information on the Student Union website is being fixed at the moment.
During mandatory club leaders' information sessions, I clearly reminded club leaders that the website is under construction and that contents in the website should be ignored until further notice. The Treasurer's Manual was handed out to allow club leaders to have access to information. I wish The Hoot had contacted me or financial liasons of The Hoot who attended meetings before writing an article criticizing the Finance Board for not being transparent.
The Student Union officers have been working extensively for new updates. The finance section of the website will be updated very soon with new and clearer information. Budgets will also be posted up starting this weekend.
