Miss HBO’s “The Wire”? Watch a screening of the series highlights and afterwards discuss with a panel of experts topics such as crime, gang activity and urban policy. Event speakers include David Simon, creator of “The Wire,” Dep. Superintendent of the Boston Police Nora Baston, CEO and president of Harlem Children’s Zone Geoffrey Canada, and Professor Sudhir A. Venkatesh of Columbia University. This event is free and open to the public.

BBII: On Stage, In Studio

See performances by the next generation of talented dancers! Boston Ballet II and Boston Ballet’s highest level students present, for one evening only, a night of both classical and contemporary dance. The students will perform works from Jorma Elo’s “Pointe Off,” to excerpts from Lichine’s “Graduation Ball.” Tickets cost $10 and proceeds will go to the BBII choreography and performance fund.
