The Brandeis Health Center has recieved another batch of H1N1 flu vaccines, according to a Jan. 7 e-mail sent to the Brandeis community by Vice President and Dean of Students Rick Sawyer.
The vaccine is now readily available at the Center free of charge by appointment. It takes several days for the the vaccine to become fully effective therefore it is important for all members of the community to get vaccinated as soon as possible.
The Health Center has also recieved another batch of seasonal flu vaccines, which cost $15.
The campus-wide flu policy is still in effect. If a student is experiencing a fever, cough, severe body aches or headaches they should call or visit the health center immediately.
