POYA: Miscellaneous shit

Haters: Oh no, he said “shit”! That means he’s just trying to be inflammatory without having any actual ideas! Critics: He used the term “haters”! That means he’s a wigger! Ridgewood lodging license approved

The Waltham Licenses and Franchises Committee approved a lodging house license for the Ridgewood Residence Halls at their meeting Monday night after a lengthy discussion about student behavior and discipline. Poor event planning coupled with students’ belligerent […]

Sexiled: Sexually challenged

I told one of my boyfriends that I didn’t care if the lights were on or off. He got all giggly and impressed that I was so self-confident. But it was really only because I looked good in comparison. I read once, in one of those pseudo-magazines, that men prefer women who are confident in […]

The Bordeline: Demand something better

The real contest in this year’s presidential election is not between Obama and McCain, but between Obama and Obama. On its surface, this may not sound like the sort of contest in which anyone but Barack Obama and his psychiatrist can participate. But, in fact, there is both an opportunity and a need for us […]
