(AUDIO RECORDING) Reinharz meets with student press to discuss rose

President Reinharz, along with other members of the university’s senior administration, met with members of the student press Thursday at 11 a.m. for the first time since sending a press release to the Brandeis community announcing that the Board of Trustees had voted to close the Rose Art Museum. In this full recording of the press conference, Reinharz discusses his public relations blunders in announcing the decision, the reality of the university’s financial situation and what he and his fellow administrators are doing to ameliorate both the university’s public image and its financial problems.
