Books! More books than you can shake a stick at. It is very similar to the Brandeis Library because it has books, but it also has a not-so-secret stash of videos (both VHS and DVD) and popular music. Also, if you want to find the name of the Native American burial ground your apartment was built over, they have records on the history of the city.
Last week, The Hoot shared small tidbits of advice to the Brandeis first-years, and it only makes sense that this week the same advice should be given to the seniors. After all, your time here is limited, and there are quite a few things that one should be able to say they did after their four years at this university. Prior to graduating, one must:

Student Government Treasurer Choon Woo Ha has appointed six students to Office of the Treasurer Positions. He appointed Max Wallach, the current F-Board chair and long-time country singer, Assistant Treasurer;
Adonis Watkins, the Phantom of the Opera, to Assistant Treasurer;
Deborah the herbavore Laufer to Assistant Treasurer;
Justin Citizen Kang to Assistant Treasurer;
Dina Dina Bobina Gankin as Executive Assistant;
and lastly, Jahfree Sex Pistol Duncan as special Counsellor to the Treasurer. With their powers combined, Choon Woo is Captain Planet! As a side note, they are all qualified for the work Choon Woo chose for them to do, just thought you might care.
In their new single Keep Your Hands off my Girl the punk rock band Good Charlotte makes a few very simple statements. They get fly, they cant stand how girls sweat them, they keep their 26 year old model[s] under control, and if one isnt careful theyre quite prone to stealing ones girlfriend.

The Rapaporte Treasure Hall hosted a series of speeches called The Spotlight on the Middle East-Challenges Facing the Next President on Thursday, which addressed the issues facing the next president regarding US policy and involvement in Iraq. The speeches, which were initiated by President Jehuda Reinharz and organized by Charles Radin, will be continued over the course of the year.
An unknown assailant attacked an unnamed male student in Massell
Quad Friday August 31st just after midnight according to the department of public safety. While the student was attacked in Massell Quad, sources state that he was not a first-year student.
As this editorial staff wandered around Usdan petitioning to make Diverse City a chartered club, we met people of many viewpoints. There were those that said “Why not?” and quickly signed, as well as students who asked to read our constitution first. Perhaps the most memorable person we solicited was a student who refused to sign, explaining that she thought there were too many clubs on campus already.
